Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Toolbox. By using this site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The service

Toolbox provides free online tools (formatters, converters, calculators, generators, and similar utilities) for general informational and productivity purposes. The service is provided free of charge, without any account required for the vast majority of tools.

Accounts

Some features (currently, saving Curl Caller requests into workspaces and collections) require creating an account with a username and password. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. There is currently no password recovery mechanism - if you lose your password, you will need to create a new account. Don't reuse a password from another service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Probe, scan, or attempt to access systems or networks without authorization, including using the network diagnostic tools (Ping, Port Checker, SSL Checker, Curl Caller, etc.) against systems you don't have permission to test;
• Use the URL Shortener to distribute phishing links, malware, or other malicious content;
• Attempt to use any tool as a general-purpose proxy, relay, or scraping service, or to circumvent the rate limits and request-size limits described on the relevant tool pages;
• Upload content you don't have the legal right to upload (for PDF/image tools), or that infringes someone else's rights;
• Interfere with or disrupt the site's infrastructure or attempt to bypass its security measures.

We may suspend or terminate access (including accounts) for activity that violates these terms.

No professional advice

Calculators and tools in the Finance, Health, and Student categories (and similar) provide estimates for general informational purposes only. They are not financial, medical, legal, or tax advice. See our Disclaimer for details.

Your content

Anything you type, upload, or save (Curl Caller requests, Kanban boards, Habit Tracker data, etc.) remains yours. We claim no ownership over it. You're solely responsible for content you create, upload, or store using the site.

Service availability

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toolbox and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site, including reliance on results produced by any tool or calculator.

Third-party services

Some tools rely on third-party services (see our Privacy Policy for specifics). We aren't responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of those third parties.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
